It's that time of year again . . . Go Pokes!

We're starting to wear black and orange this month.  No it's not in anticipation for Halloween.  It's football season and we are blessed to have family who share their OSU football season tickets with us each year.  So again we don our Pistol Pete attire and cheer on the Cowboys.
The first game that we were able to go to was last weekend.  We were able to take the kids with us and introduce Kate to a college football game.  She really enjoyed it.  When she wasn't watching for Bullet or Pistol Pete, she entertained herself with toys, her baby doll and popcorn.  Owen didn't seem to enjoy it as much as he has in past seasons, but he tolerated it nonetheless.  Again, popcorn was a big life saver for us!  I think that part of Owen's disillusionment this year was that KK and Grandfather didn't sit with us.  KK sat with a friend and Grandfather and Grandmother didn't come for the game.  Plus, Pistol Pete is old hat to him now so he doesn't really care to watch for him the whole time.

Tomorrow, we're headed back to Stillwater for another game.  This time Grandfather and Grandmother are coming.  So the kids will stay at KK's house with Grandmother while the rest of us go to the game.  Owen's already looking forward to playing with Grandmother instead of going to the game.  Tyson and I are tailgating with friends before the game.  Should be a fun weekend!
