An Interview with a Four Year Old

I took a moment to interview Owen shortly after he turned 4.  He was quite entertaining with some of his answers.  I think we need to work with him on the meaning of "favorite"!

How old do you think Mommy and Daddy are?  1000 :)

Owen's Stats:
At his 4 year old checkup he weighed 31 pounds, 14 ounces (12%) and was 39 3/4 inches tall (28%).
He's wearing size 4T in clothes.  Adjustable waisted pants are a must to keep them up!
He's wearing size 9 in shoes.
He brushes his teeth and gets dressed on his own.  Thankfully he still lets me choose what he wears most days!
He no longer naps, but has "rest time/quiet time" in his room for 1-2 hours a day.  He usually reads books or plays with stuffed animals during that time.
He is reading books with paragraphs. By that I mean, everything from Dr Seuss, to The Berenstain Bears, to Little Golden Books, to his Childrens Bible.
He constantly amazes us with words that he knows.  If he doesn't know a word, he only has to hear it once to recognize it again.
He is going to a two day a week preschool at Holland Hall and loves it.  His teacher, Mrs Patterson, is Tyson's cousin and a long-time friend of ours.
His best buddy at school is Dylan.  They are inseperable!
He loves having friends over and going to their houses to play.
He is a fruit-snack-aholic.
He loves donuts.
He suddenly likes to wear his hair spikey "like Uncle Trav".
He has a tender heart and is usually very sympathetic to others.
He is very helpful and is eager to please.
He loves his new responsibility chart!  He likes to have chores.
He likes to know what to expect and likes a routine.
He is still a mommy's boy and I love it!
