This year we traveled to Kansas to spend New Years Eve weekend with Grandfather, Grandmother and Aunt KK. On our way there we stopped in Alva to spend a few hours with Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Schwerdtfeger. The kids had so much fun playing with their toys and their pool table. It was great to spend time with them as we don't get to see them as often as we would like.
We then drove to Pratt and had a great weekend on the farm. The kids have such fun when we go there. Owen loves to play with Tyson's old GI Joes and cars. Kate had fun playing with Aunt KK's baby dolls and clothes. They both love to play chase up one set of stairs and down the other. Playing chase is quite a workout at Grandfather and Grandmother's house!
We shared a nice relaxing weekend together. Before leaving on Sunday we spent a few hours at Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Shelite's house. It was a blessing to get to see so many family members in one trip.
