Owen and Kate love to go to the splash pad in the summer. So we made our first trip of the season this month. Kate still isn't big on running through the water, but she loves to run in the mist around the perimeter. Owen takes full advantage of all there is to offer and even stands under the buckets that dump water every few minutes. It's a joy to watch them have such fun together!
It's hard to believe that it's already been a year since I took Owen, Kate and Logan (Owen's buddy) to the splash pad. The boys had to hold Kate's hands and walk her through the water as she couldn't quite walk by herself. My how times have changed. She was running all over the place on our latest visit!

Call us and we will meet you there next time. We haven't been to the splash park all summer...how sad is that?!?
We will. We've only been that one time but I hope to take them again soon. Hoping that Kate's cast will be off by the next time we go.
