Tyson + Kenna = Owen and Kate: April: Eck Weekend in Jenks

My parents, sister, brother in law and nephew came to visit us in early April. We had a great weekend together. Tyson and I got some much needed yard work done while Owen and Kate stayed entertained by everyone. They had so much fun playing in our backyard and introducing Jackson to their motorized tractor and car. Kate and Grandmom had some girl time and painted their toenails. Tyson and I had a date night while we had the chance!

We also squeezed in a mini photo shoot in downtown Tulsa. Megan is a talented photographer and I try to get pics of my kiddos whenever she comes to visit. This time our goal was to get some good pics of Owen as a 4 year old. Meg did a fantastic job as usual for what she had to work with. Owen is getting better about posing for pictures, but Kate isn't really interested at all. And to make matters worse, Owen skinned up his arm in the middle of our shoot when he tripped over a pile of bricks. So we took a break to clean him up and eat dinner. If you know Owen you know that a boo boo can pretty much ruin his day. Thankfully he rebounded after dinner and we used the daylight we had left to get some great pics. Thanks Meg for sharing your gift with us yet again!
