A few days after our nephews birth, the Eck family gathered in Healdton to meet Baby Jackson and to celebrate our soon-to-be second nephew with a baby shower. It was a crazy few days, but it was the best time to throw a shower for my brother, Travis and my sister-in-law, Shelley. Shelley was due 7 weeks after Jackson arrived, so it was the last time that she'd be able to travel away from their home in Shreveport, LA. Our second nephew doesn't have a name just yet, so we'll call him Baby Eck in this post.
We celebrated Baby Eck at my parent's church with friends and family. It was a robot themed shower, since that is his nursery theme. My brother is a graphic designer and has used his talent to create some paintings for his baby boy's nursery. You'll see them in the pictures. This sweet baby boy is already so loved and so anticipated. His older sister, Arwen, is 3 years old and can't wait to have a baby brother. She calls him "Hernen", a custom made name that she chose for him. Owen calls him "Baby Tiger". I'm not sure where that came from! So Baby Eck, Hernen, Baby Tiger, whatever your name will be, we can't wait to meet you in just a few weeks!
